Opposite to the main sanctum on both the sides of the entrance to the main mandapam are small shrines for Lord Rama and Lord Ayyappan.
On either side of the main sanctum is Lord Karpaga Vinayagar and Lord Muruga depicted with Valli and Deivanai. In the main sanctum, Goddess Bhuvaneshwari Amman is present in sitting posture. The temple’s third and latest consecration was performed in 2012 by Picha Sivachariar from Pillaiyarpatti. ‘Within a year, the temple was constructed and the first consecration took place in the presence of Kanchi Maha Periyava,’ he added.
According to him, this is the first Bhuvaneshwari Amman temple in the city.
